The New Iberia Boy’s and Girl’s Club Design Charette will be held on February 28 starting at 4:30pm at the New Iberia Club. This effort is for the children who utilize these clubs and when you see this facility, you will understand just how much work is needed. It really isn’t a far cry from the Granberry Unit.
Please try to make it. We could use the help.
A work day has been scheduled for March 3 starting at 8:00am at the Granberry unit. Anyone wanting to help, please come.
The CD’s for the Granberry unit renovations have yet to begin. I have not received any information from Geoff, yet, about providing crits and assisting with red-lining the drawings. If and when that information comes out, I will put it here.
If you don’t already know, AIA-South Louisiana is hosting the AIA-Louisiana State Convention this year. We will have an Emerging Professionals Track woven into the session.
Beginning on Wednesday, Professor David Thaddeus will be giving a 1 1/2 Day structures seminar. This will be an additional cost, but will be part of the Convention.
